Sometimes the current situation in Africa, the realities in Kenya, what Kenyans are facing and Africa’s can be quite disheartening, the economy is not doing well, increase in number of jobless amoung youth and level of poverty.
The big question is,are we doing well,we are not doing well.
Why I am saying this if right now things are hard, difficult to feed the majority a balance diet meal, the drop out of school children increasing everyday. And we are just about 50 millions people here in Kenya, what if we hit 100 milions,if things doesn’t change poverty will multiply, security challenges will multiply, hunger will multiply.
Many people are eyeing for few jobs around, resources, and opportunities available.Just imagine our source of income as a country reducing ,people not paying taxes,we will end up a borrowing nation to feed it’s people.
I want to see problems, facing Kenya and Africa turn into opportunities to his people,we should have market opportunities,my question is what do you think about it,what do you see? What do you think about poverty and inequality. What do you, think about un employment, what do you think about health care, education, energy and climate change, what do you think about government, corruption and accountability, economy, trade and financial inclusion.
What do you think about agriculture and food security, what do you think about housing and infrastructure, transportation and mobility. What do you think about innovation and technology. What do you think of culture and creactive industry.
What do you think about what industry sector is facing. Two big question!Do you see them as problems or a market opportunities,to shape the future of Africa Continent and Kenya, there are four key players, that plays crucial role as we journey to the future
Number one: Power of People.
You and me,Never estimate the power of human spirit, the future is going to be shaped by people who see opportunities, where other people see challenges. The future is going to epicenter of people who take action, irrespective of there age, background, education, race. We need everybody to play his/her role to come together to provide solutions to our country.
Number two:
Business and investors:
We need businesses who understand, the reason they exist is to solve problems.Who create an opportunities and impact to communities. We need business, who are thinking how to transform the lives of its people. We need investors who will put more capital in businesses to sphere head projects.
Number three:
Goverments and institution
We have an impact by using instruments of power to excute policies of government,as the government partiners with different government agencies. We need public office holders who understand the ultimate role is to deliver the mandate that got them into office.
We need political parties, who will ensure the right candidates are given tickets as they convince the masses to vote for them.We need civil service officers who will use their office for the benefit of it’s people to solve problems.
Number four:
Non profit egency(NGOs)
They play key role,by thinking in different directions to drive action. This journey is not for the faint hearted.
In order to get that gold that is hiding deeper,we need courage, patience, clarity of purpose, strength in our conviction and strategic discipline. To unlock the pontential that Kenya has to offer to the world.
As a journalist,I am using my skills to shape the society because I believe we have been given responsibility to inspire, educate, motivate, encourage the masses, I am planning to register strategic company, which will offer solutions to people and businesses. I am founder of Muramura Foundation Kenya, Foundation offering solutions to Farmers by teaching them modern farming both online and on the ground kindly visit Muramura Foundation Kenya on Facebook page get encouraged, sometimes the current realities Kenya and Africa in facing can be quite disheartening, you wake up everyday to news of stories that make you question your nationality, it’s like we’re getting to a new level of crazy every second.
Most times you are motivated to work hard ,because of the bills you have to pay, this wrong you need to be driven with passion of what you are doing,to work hard not for the salary but changing lives. In the middle of all this chaos,I stumbled on an insight that changed my perspective forever. I am gospel minister and motivation/inspirational speaker,to offer solutions to my generation by Impacting this society, and bring hope to the hopeless.
This insight made me realize that not only i can i can achieve much here in Kenya and Africa but I can also contribute my ideas to the world.
