My wife sponsored our wedding.

“My wife sponsored our wedding because I could not afford it at that time.

A few months before our wedding, I lost my job.

It became so terrible that I could not even afford the wedding expenses.

I remember all I was able to pay for was the dowry, but when it came to other wedding preparations, my wife handled them.

At one point, I called her and suggested we postpone the wedding until I got another job, but she said:

“If I had been the one who lost my job, the wedding would have gone ahead, so why should we postpone it because you lost your job?

If you had money, I know you wouldn’t keep it from me, so why should I keep mine from you?

You have been responsible and committed to me, so I choose to give you my all.”

This statement alone made me realize that true love truly exists.

When we needed to buy things for the wedding preparations, she would just send the money to my account and insist that I pay myself.

She made sure that nobody knew she was the one footing the bills, not even her family members.

That was how we were able to get married, and today God has blessed us so much that we look at the past and just laugh.”

True love exists, and until you get to the point where you are ready to give your all, you have not started.

Love is about giving a person power over you and being vulnerable to them.

Love thrives when it is backed up by actions, and the essence of marriage is to have someone you can rely on at all times.

When I hear stories like this, it pushes me to do more and become better in love.

When you find love, please hold it tight.

True love can be scarce.

Do you have what it takes to do this?
