Leaders led by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Sunday evening joined President William at the airport to see him off as he departed for the Republic of Korea to attend the Korea-Africa Summit in Seoul.
In a tweet, Gachagua said that besides attending the Korea-Africa Summit, the President will hold bilateral engagements to further strengthen the diplomatic bond between Kenya and the Asian State for the benefit of the people of the two Nations.

Gachagua was accompanied by Interior CS Kithure Kindiki, Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot and National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah.
