For us to move forward and create a committed group of people we must look back, Identify our challenges, learn from them and then move
With a clear understanding of the past (history) followed by our current position and plan for the future.

We seem to never learn from history, fail to change strategy even when the strategy we are using is not working for us.
Tendency is to be impulsive, send a few texts during “lunch” time with no specific goal and then vanish back to your “office”

We seem to be stuck at the drawing board everytime we initiate discussions for whatever reason.

REPORT CARD

I think we should all take the blame for failing to develop luhya unity of purpose.

Not uniting

Not supporting our current leaders

By not holding leaders accountable

Letting out culture be eroded

By not defending our homes when thieves came in

not believing in ourselves

not looking out for our own

not empowering our women and youth (specially just before we think they are now young men and women)

not promoting or initiating transferable skills

Failing to lead other subgroups who look up to us

By not returning home mentally, spiritually economically, Socially etc.

By promoting laziness sending mpesa for no work done

Investing with selfishness in mind

Initiating projects to serve our immediate selfish goals

inability to sustain discussions beyond a few texts

WHAT NEXT
if you are upto the task are you ready to

Sacrifice time space, money and more as a trailblazer?

Are you ready to meet via different means (person. Google meets, zoom)

Are you ready to serve

Are you ready to persevere

Are you ready to fail and rise up again

Are you ready to be committed to the cause.

Are you ready to shelve your political ambitions
(Politics at this juncture will not help us, or governmental proposals)

Ready to be a pioneer/trailblazer

Believe in the cause

Understand we will have many false starts before we discover the “bulb”

Failed to provide guidance – elders

Failed to lead- leaders

Failed to contribute that idea you know can work, Because you gave up on your family, Lost confidence or think your are better than everyone else or for whatever reason you have.

For county initiative

For clarity sake. I have no intentions of seeking political office to advance our plans. Politicians and their henchman who are mainly selfish are really not a welcome group because you will not meet the criteria of true service.

For those affiliated with politicians in this group you will need to examine your heart and then think of the missed opportunities, the jobless people and ask yourself if that was your brother or sister what would you really do different?
