Sometimes we get hit with a life altering situation. That is just how the enemy operates. Sometimes it just feels so unfair. He knocks you down to put you in a place of complete fear. Complete paralyzation- feeling hurt, confused, hopeless.

I want to encourage you today. Stand on the Word of God. He says in Isaiah, “plead your case before me.” When I go to God and pray, I go to Him in His name and with His word, because that’s covenant language. That’s legal language. And I know that I can speak to God on the basis of the finished work of Jesus Christ, and my heart can rest assured because I know His word.

God is not going to alter His covenant for you. Whatever giant you’re facing, I don’t care how big Goliath looks against David’s little slingshot- God is always going to be faithful! And He says, “My covenant will I keep and be faithful to, and I will never alter what has come out of My lips.”

There’s a whole lot that has come out of the lips of God. It promises you life, it promises you victory, it promises you peace. It promises you joy, It doesn’t promise you that every day is going to be “a great day.” But it promises you that in the midst of trials, you can count it all joy. Why? Because God’s taking what the enemy meant for bad and He’s turning it around for your good.
