Former Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has asked Former President Uhuru Kenyatta to forgive him in the event he felt offended by him.

Ngunjiri, who was a fierce critic of Uhuru ahead of the 2022 General elections in which he backed President William Ruto for the presidency, said it is time for reconciliation.

Ngunjiri said the political season is over and it is time for all leaders to channel energy towards unity of purpose.

The MP was reacting to a move by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to ask Uhuru to join him in uniting the Mt Kenya region.
