The first represents the total. All firsts belong to God! and there is a reason why… “Honor the LORD with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow…” (Proverbs 3:9–10 NKJV).

Jesus declared, “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness… all these things will be added to you,” (Matthew 6:33). God adds the “things” to you when the foundation is in place to be built upon. When we honor God with our FIRST FRUITS, He will unlock everything for the remainder of the year- your 2020 will be A YEAR OF FREEDOM & FAVOR!!
You can put God first in every area of your life by:
PRAYING: Give God your first thoughts in the morning.
PLANNING: Where do you want to be 365 days from today?
MAKING AN OFFERING: When you give your first fruits offering, you are scripturally planting a seed for the remainder of the year. There is a greater portion that awaits you in honor of your first fruits offering!
As you remember the Lord your God, according to Deuteronomy 8:18, through your first fruits offering, He gives you the power to acquire wealth to establish His covenant throughout the earth.
Each January, I put God first and honor Him with the first of my sustenance by sowing a sacrificial First Fruits Offering. Some years that has been a week, other years a day or two, but there were some years I felt led to sow a month’s wages, that was my personal conviction and I obeyed. Every year many others join us and sow a First Fruits Offering, but everyone gives their best- It is not that you “Have to”… you can miss your moment and the blessing that comes with it if you choose… but it is that you “Get to!” It is about Honoring God.
I challenge you to put First Things First and honor God! I challenge you to start activating the Word by offering God your First Fruits as a seed for your harvest in 2020. I challenge you to set aside time for Him every day. Maybe you feel led to fast for a portion of this first month… And although it is going to unlock unbelievable blessing all around your life, it is first and foremost about honoring God because He is worthy!
As you sacrifice your offering to Him, you set a precedent of what will come. You release a great promise of provision as a result of your obedience. Everyone is to give their very best offering!
According to Ezekiel 44, I will raise your offering up as a sacrifice, believing God to pour out His promises through your obedience! “The best of all the first fruit and of all your special gifts will be given to the priests. You are to give them the first portion so that a blessing may rest on your household” (Ezekiel 44:30).
Give your very best as a first fruits offering and watch God’s supernatural blessings pour into your life and your family. WATCH WHAT GOD WILL DO!

I am so excited to talk to you about the principle of first fruits. Why do we apply God’s Principle to the very beginning of our calendar in the Western World? Because at the start of 2020, we begin in alignment, putting God first, and He sets everything else, “the things” of Matthew 6:33, in place…
All firsts belong to God! This is not an issue of heaven or hell. That is an issue that was settled with the blood of Jesus Christ whether you receive Him as your Savior or not. But this is an issue of how you’re going to live.
Let me ask you this: What is the quality of your life? Will your purpose be fulfilled? What doors are going to be opened to you this year? You see God gives divine instruction throughout His Word. And with those divine instructions, when we’re obedient to them, we reap divine rewards. God says, If you hearken, which means “to hear and to do”, the things that I command, then you receive. there’s always an “IF.” And when you have that “if” and you obey it, then you see the promises of God come to pass.
So, we know the plan of Jesus was to come and give you an abundant life, not only so that you would go to heaven, but so there would also be heaven here on earth for you. It is His desire that His kingdom expands. So, let me give you a few principles. Remember first fruits is that irrevocable giving over to God that which belongs to Him and Him alone. It is the first portion of all things. So all firsts belong to God… the first hours of your day, the first day of the week, the first 10th of your income that becomes a tithe, the first income of the year in the first month. ALL firsts… your first born belong to God. You’ll see this pattern throughout His word!
“when first things are first, then second things are not suppressed, but they’re increased.” Many people are setting goals right now. And those goals tend to be things like: I’m going to put God first, then my family, then my marriage or my ministry, my career, my finances, my health, my physical well-being… We say, “here’s number one, number two, number three, number four,” but I say we’ve got that wrong! You see, it’s not first is God, then ministry, then family… no, it should be God first. Period. God first, God first IN family. God first IN ministry. God first IN finances, God’s first IN my day… and so on.

You see that is The Principle of First Fruits because whatever happens with the first governs what happens to the rest. It determines the destiny of it. Jesus declared in Matthew 6:33,“Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.”
And in Deuteronomy 16:16 God says, “Do not stand before me empty handed.”

In Leviticus 3 God says, “all first belong to Him,” …all the way through the New Testament there was a practice of first fruits. Anytime there was a first of something, it belongs to God. In fact, when you get into the book of Acts, and you start to really study, you understand that it had to do with the First Fruits.

God has a better purpose for you. Do not forfeit your destiny. God declares your calculator will never add up because my ways are not your ways, and my thoughts are not your thoughts for my thoughts are much higher than your thoughts says the spirit of God, and God says I will elevate your mind to a higher place for I have something greater for you, and I will renew your mind even today, and I’ll wash it with my Word if you’ll allow it to.
Your declarations are a weapon against the enemy and all he has assigned to hold you back- say “NO MORE!” Declare, “God Has Something Greater For Me!!” Proverbs 18:21, “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
I believe God is opening heaven and your words are going to release blessing and miracles. This is a door of opportunity for His people…
It’s often not that we’re doing something wrong. It’s that we’re not doing enough of what is right. God says in His word that my people, good people, perish because of lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6, “My people perish (are destroyed) for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge.”
You have just entered a new year. And I believe 2020 is going to be a supernatural year for you, a year of seeing God’s greatness, but God has a specific way of doing things. You see God Himself all throughout His Word said, “Hey, all first belong to Me!”(32 times) He lays claim to it. He says that first or holy— is the irrevocable giving over to God things that belong to Him, that He lays claim to.
